Site investigations almost invariably involve the digging of holes, usually with one of our drilling rigs. Whilst these boreholes are small in diameter we often drill to depths in excess of 6m and the intersection of any in ground services is not what we want to happen. To that end we carry out a Dial Before You Dig (DBYD) search on sites and take into account any Council and Client provided drawings, even then we often engage an accredited Service Locator to ensure the safety of our staff as well as minimising the risk of damage to infrastructure.
