A SWEET TRIP
Recently one of our small rigs carried out an investigation in an old sugar cane field, close to the coast, for a government agency looking to redevelop the site into a wetlands and overflow carpark for a nearby tourist information centre. Several standpipes were installed to allow groundwater monitoring and sampling in the future. Access wasn’t helped by recent rains but we were able the site with the help of air photos and local knowledge from the site staff.
